Behind them, the pressure rises fast. Atlanta Braves (67-45, 98.5%) and Tampa Bay Rays (65-46, 98.1%) are not safely locked into anything yet; a clean week pushes both closer to the bracket, while a stumble forces them to keep sweating the finish line.
The most fragile contenders
Chicago Cubs (63-49, 91.2%) and Boston Red Sox (60-51, 90.8%) are in the zone where one bad week can still change the shape of the race. A series win keeps them on the near-certainty side; a series loss gives oxygen to the teams trailing them.
